The bird characters themselves look wonderfully daft in their various selectable. Same for the animations, which are limited. The story that plays out is, of course, absurd but SkateBIRD knows how silly it is and delivers it with charm. The visuals look outdated, the UI is bad, the gameplay is clunky. I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to skateboarding games, so my frustration tolerance for the gameplay itself is likely fairly low, but the game as a whole just feels unpolished.
